Open Tournament on Kuresh Struggle in Simferopol - win Lamb by Id al-Fitr

On August, 31st, 2011, in the city of Simferopol will take place Open republican tournament on kuresh struggle, dated for the Islamic holiday of Id-al-Fitr (Uraza-Bayram). The tournament is organized and sponsored by the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid".

The tournament is carried out for the purpose of popularization and development of this kind of struggle. The direct management of the action, its preparation and carrying out are performed by the Crimean federation of the national struggle kuresh.

For participation in competitions which will start on August, 31st at 10am, in Simferopol, in Mokrousov's street, 7а, are accepted applications submitted not later than for two days prior to the beginning of the tournament. Registration of the participants starts in the day of the competitions at 9am.

Directly in the day of arrival the participant should submit to the main judiciary board the personal demand assured by the head of the organization, the doctor and the representative of the team with the corresponding seals. Expenses on sending of sportsmen bear sending organizations.

Competitions are carried out according to struggle rules of kuresh on following age and weight categories: among men — 60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg, above 100 kg; Among young men of 15-16 years old — 44 kg, 48 kg, 50 kg, 58 kg, 64 kg, 70 kg, 76 kg, above76 kg.

In the end of the tournament the winners in each of weight categories will battle among themselves for the main prize — a lamb.

The AUASO "Alraid" repeatedly organized similar sports actions, in particular on football and other kinds of sports.
