Drafting, Planning, Achieving: And How Did You Spend Your Week-End?

Last Saturday was extremely productive for Muslim women who participate in various volunteering projects: Mr.Wael Al-Alami, Director of Halal Research and Certification Centre “Alraid”, organised a training for the activists of WSO “Maryam” in order to improve the teamwork. More that 30 female visitors to ICC not only listened to lectures on drafting, setting a goal, sharing responsibilities in the team, estimating and preventing threats and achieving the desired goal, but also split in teams to work at the simulated events.

S.W.O.T and S.M.A.R.T planning systems were described using abstract situations and even fairy tales; so was the Eisenhower matrix. This information is of a great importance for the activists who are involved in various volunteering projects and plan to launch more of them.

Besides, Mr.Abdullah Benmansour, President of Federation of Islamic Organisations in Europe, attended the training as guest lecturer. He spoke about the opportunities women have in the society, family and with themselves.
