Funseekers: Kids’ Maulid In Kyiv

A fest with interesting quizzes, team games, sports competitions were awaiting for children at Kyiv Islamic Cultural Centre on January 10. All those activities demanded not only erudition, but also quick-wittedness, vivid imagination, logic and teamwork skills with the most effective self-organisation and sharing roles and responsibilities. This was the way chosen by the administration of the Children’s Club “An-Noor” in order to let the kids not only have a wonderful time, but also refresh their knowledge about the Last Messenger of God and his mission, and, maybe, learn something new.

Little Muslims successfully found some hadith among random quotations, played a blindfolded “got you last” game, guessed the words with the help of their teammates’ dumb show and revealed their knowledge about Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and a book had been given, the Holy Qur’an.

All 60 participants received small gifts.
