Stiffened in Water Color "Landscapes of Crimea": Exhibition of well-known Ukrainian Muslim Artist in Kiev

The AUASO "Alraid" invites all interested to the exhibition of the well-known Ukrainian artist-aquarellist, Ali Muhammad (Oleg Petrovich Kalenchuk) which passes from December, 3 ,to December, 15th, in the Kiev Teacher's club, Vladimirskaya street, 45.


During this period the admirers of water color painting are welcomed see the works of this gifted artist daily (except Sunday) from 11am to 6pm. Entrance is free.

The Ukrainian artist who was born in 1954 in Simferopol and at young ages started to study drawing — at first at the art school, then at different teachers. He started his independent professional work in 1987, and in 1994 his pictures were already exposed in the Moscow Art House on Arbat.

This period became blossoming of his creativity: Oleg Petrovich converted to Islam and started to sing in his works the Greatness of the Creator through His creations, signing his pictures as Ali Muhammad. His techniques reminds simultaneously classics, impressionists, Japanese or Chinese masters with introduction of something touching, straightforward and pure.

Sixfold participation in "Biennial of chamber water color of Crimea", spent by the Simferopol art museum, brought to the artist two prizes of spectator sympathies and two diplomas of the first degree. His works were exposed in the Crimean-Tatar museum, and in 2006 his personal exhibition in the branch of the Union of Artists of Ukraine in Simferopol took place.
