Chairman of AUASO "Alraid" represented Ukraine at International Conference of Islamic Scholars in Makkah

At the University Umm al-Qurah which is located next to the mosque al-Haram in Makkah, the World Islamic League with support of the king of
Saudi Arabia, Abdullah ibn Abd-al-Aziz As-Saud, organized a conference "Islamic world. Problems and ways of their decision".

The meeting passed from 22nd to 24th of the month of Shaaban, 1432 Hijri year (23 - 25^th of July, 2011). In the conference participated more than 500 Islamic scholars, art workers and heads of social organizations from the different countries of the world. All of them are concerned of the problem of crisis in Ummah.
Ukraine was represented by the chairman of the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid", doctor Ismail Kady.

During the conference there were discussed the problems of illiteracy and separation of Muslims, influence of various trends, economic and social difficulties; rights and duties of the governors and the people and their joint efforts on overcoming of the aforementioned problems; dialogue in the Islamic society; and also search of Islamic methods of  decision of the aforementioned questions.

Upon termination of the conference work there was published a communique in which the participants emphasized the necessity to impart Islamic values to young generation and to provide to it possibilities for deeper understanding of the purposes of the Islamic law.

Obligations

The conference called the Islamic countries, the League of the Arabian Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIС) and other international organizations to carry out the duties on prevention of distempers; and also to the heads of Islamic powers and their people with an appeal to observe principles of the Islamic right for protection of religion, life, property and human rights.

The charitable organizations and the help organizations were urged to render help to victims and refugees.

The participants also mentioned the importance of role of scholars in relation to their countries and people, especially during the periods of crises as they possess powers to explain to Muslims what Shariat says about their rights and duties.

Such key moments, as sanctity of human life, importance of Islamic principles for correct conducting of administrative activity, necessity of the Islamic legal approach to all phenomena and processes in the society, and also necessity of prevention of distempers and disorders and struggle against their instigators were emphasized once again. After all, "The Believers are but a single Brotherhood" (The Holy Quran, 49:10).

The new charter of Islamic work

Conference charged to the World Islamic League to prepare the charter which will contain stages of Islamic work under the permission of internal and external problems of Ummah. As priority directions of the activity were chosen decisions of modern problems by means of collective Ijtihad; Fiqh of Muslim minorities, and also dialogue and rapprochement with the various people according to the positions of the Muslim law; and also association of efforts of the power and the people in the Islamic society and their coordination in various spheres of life.

The special group of skilled experts in the Islamic nations and Muslim minorities for preparation of the given charter and its granting on consideration to the various official and national Islamic organizations will be generated. Then the World Islamic League will spend the international conference on which the given charter will be officially accepted and then dispatched to the different Islamic organizations.

Necessity of cooperation of the government with the charitable organizations, and of the organizations - with each other and with the Muslim scholars; and also necessity of vocational training of persons for support of the Islamic organizations and centers; cooperation of official circles with broad masses, and also necessity of distribution between Muslims of idea of moderation in Islam (wasatyya), and also explaining to non-Muslims of information that this religion cultivates such concepts, as justice, equality, safety and peace, were emphasized separately.

The World Islamic League called for carrying out of meetings and conferences for the purpose of cooperation adjustment between scholars, preachers, art workers and mass-media for distribution of true knowledge of Islam, to strengthening of coordination activity between mosques and cultural centers for overcoming of religious illiteracy among Muslims, and also struggle with differences and its instigators.

Also participants of the conference reminded the Islamic countries of importance of dialogue as means of struggle against interstate disagreements and achievements of effective decisions of problems, having emphasized importance of dialogue as a method which was used by Messengers in their preaching activity and attempts to improve the state of affairs of the people and the nations. They reminded of importance of settling of crisis situations through the prism of Islam that will protect an Islamic society from chaos and distempers.
