"Emel" organized Quran Reading Competition among Youth

On January, 23rd, 2011 in the building of the Islamic Cultural Centre of the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid" passed the first competition of the Quran readers for the youth, organized by the Social Organization "Emel". In the competition participated 16 persons aged from 13 to 26 years who represented various regions and cities of
Crimea.

The competition between the readers passed on three levels. Participants of the first level competed in correct reading by heart of the sura "Yasin", the second - of the sura "An Naba". Participation in the third level needed knowledge of suras starting from "Ad-Duha" up to the end of the Quran.

Following the results of the competition, at the first level the first place got Rustem Memetov, the second - Ekrem Mamedov, the third place - Emir Ametov.

At the second level the first place got Asan Fahriev, the second - Ibraim Umerov, the third – Ahtem Halitov.

Among the participants of the third level Tair Ibragimov has shown the best result, and the second place got Islam Veisov.

Besides the competition of the Quran readers, young Crimean Muslims had possibility to take part in intellectual game of the name of N.Chelebidzhihan.

The fourth game passed on January, 22nd, in the conference hall of the AUASO "Alraid". Its organizer was a youth active of the community of the SCM and the SО "Emel".

The meeting was the first semi-final of the current season and on its results should be defined one of the teams - the participants of the final game.

The competition passed between national teams of the Crimean Engineering-Pedagogical University (CEPU) and the Crimean-Tatar Youth Centre (CYC).

This time won the national team of the CYC. Having reached the final, it became one of the teams which will compete for the first place.

The second team-finalist will be defined in the following semi-final participation in which will take part the national teams of the social organizations "Qardashlyq" and "Emel".
