And their expectations aren’t something fancy, as for Muslim volunteers from Social Organisation “Al-Masar” helping orphans, elderly people, disabled people, refugees, victims of natural disasters have long ago become the actions they try to do constantly.
And, of course, they don’t miss the International Children’s day. They didn’t fail to mark the date this year as well: more than 100 pupils of Odessa boarding school #5 got individual sets of personal hygiene means, including such essentials as shampoos, soap, toothbrushes and toothpastes, sponges, hair brushes, toilet paper, …
Both adult Muslims and their own children traditionally took part in the benefit, as the parents want ro raise their offsprings being compassionate towards other people who have less social establishment and protection. For that reason, young Muslims weren’t only observers, they also participated in handing the gifts over to their peers.
Pupils of the boarding school are either from poor families or have no family at all; many orphans are disabled.
ICC volunteers not only bring presents for the pupils of orphanages and boarding schools, but also arrange sports competitions for them as well.
