The Association "Аlraid" and the RAMU "Ummah" join the recommendation of the European Council on Fatwa and Research which declared the Holy Month of Ramadan - Id al-Fitr (Uraza Bayram) to be on August, 30th.
Basing their conclusion on the data of astronomical calculations, it was established that the Moon of month Shawwal of 1432 a.H. will be born at three o'clock four minutes across Greenwich, in the morning of Monday, on August, 29th, 2011, and it means that with the sunset and Maghreb prayer the last day of the Holy Month of Ramadan comes to the end. According to this data and on the decision No 18 accepted by the International Congress on Fiqh at the third conference in 1986 which states that distinctions according to the territory are not to be considered, because of the general sense of the Hadith, "Fast, when you see the Moon, and break your fast when you see the Moon", it was decided that the first day of Id al-Fitr holiday, by God's will, will be on Tuesday, on August, 30th, 2011.
The Council reminds Muslims of compulsion of unity fulfilling of the order of Allah, "And obey Allah and His Messenger. And fall into no disputes, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: For Allah is with those who patiently persevere" (The Holy Quran, 8:46).
Therefore it calls its members, Imams of the mosques and Shariah scholars in Islamic and other societies to strengthen culture of respect of the absolute data of science of astronomical calculations in order to avoid situations when someone makes a decision that he did not see a new moon. Use of the data of science does not contradict Shariah, moreover, it promotes joint performance of the acts of worship and organization of religious holidays.

Probably, approach of Id al-Fitr (Uraza-bayram) becomes possibility for Muslims to make up for the lost and to improve their position, to unite and to reject that what divides. Perhaps, Allah will change our position to the best, the one which would please Him, after all, "Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves" (The Holy Quran, 13:11).
