“Cleanness day” was held on Sunday, September 16, at the Islamic Cultural Center of the Public Organization “Al-Masar” in Odessa, following the unanimous decision of Muslims. The proposition to organize the event was articulated by the initiative group of the women’s organization.

 

 

Young women gladly responded on the proposition, considering it as one more chance for talking, spending time with sisters and children who also was active participators in the event. 

 

Cleaning began with fixing “responsibility zones” and locating the works. The building space was filled by sunlight penetrating freely through the open wide windows and by restless energies of young women, which raised spirits and incited joyful feelings. Nobody felt much tired.

 

Men could not seat still, as on “insistent request” of the sisters they had to do traditionally male hard work.

 

The event ended up with collective prayer and picnic for all the participants of “Cleanness day”, undertaken by Sheikh Abu Arrub, head of “Al-Masar” organization in Odessa, and supported by other brothers.
