The public organization “Al-Isra”, a member of the All-Ukrainian Association of Public Organizations (AAPO) “Alraid”, gathered Muslim families in a seminar at the Islamic Cultural Center in Vinnitsa city.

This event was attended by nearly 15 Muslim families from among the city residents. Apart from listening lectures about high status of the family, established by Islam, and means for its strengthening and preservation, they could participate in the discussion of ways to resolve emerging problems.

Examples from the Prophet (may be peace and blessings on him) life concerning his treatment of wives and children, and ways of resolving various daily situations in the family were given. Following these examples can help in harmonizing family life and making it happy for husband, wife and their children.

Also, rights and obligations put by religion on husband, wife and their children were explained to participants, which could relieve the seriousness of the theme by exciting cases from everyday life.

Once the event was over, participants thanked its organizers for the work they did and for invitation to the seminar, and expressed hope that similar meetings would be arranged regularly. Being very important for Muslims in Ukraine, where Muslims constitute a minority, cultural and education events like this are organized during the year in various Ukrainian cities, thus conveying information to Muslims and supporting them in various daily matters.
